The loft-style Penthouse is a lovely self-catered chalet with stunning mountain views and lots of space. Built into the hillside on top of Maison Caramel (we rent the two together as Mountain Maison), the Penthouse is ground level at the rear with its own garden and hot tub (supplement payable), and at the front looks out over the village rooftops.

Located in the quaint alpine village of Landry on the Peisey Vallandry/Les Arcs side of Paradiski, this large 150m2 loft-style ski chalet is perfect for a relaxing winter retreat with family or friends. The open plan living area has a vaulted beamed ceiling; shabby chic décor, huge feature windows and a balcony with panoramic mountain views. The spacious bedrooms all have designer ensuites with heated towel rails and hair dryers. There are 13 proper beds, and there’s space for an extra bed in Abri, allowing the chalet to sleep up to 14 people if required.

The ski chalet is just a few minutes drive away from the ski slopes of Les Arcs (free village shuttle) and La Plagne (chalet shuttle service to Montchavin les Coches, extra charge). See the “Resort” tab above for more information.

Optional services include a bakery delivery service, and if you fancy a rest from cooking, our private cook can come and prepare dinner for you some nights (and do the washing up!). We can also deliver ready-made meals for you to reheat yourselves. Ask us for a quote.

The Penthouse is the self-contained top / 4th floor of Mountain Maison, accessed via a long flight of external log steps built into the hillside by the side of the main house. As a result, it is not very suitable for people with restricted mobility or very young children (although you’re welcome to stay if you wish). We help you take up your luggage when we can, and clear the steps for you when it snows, but you use them at your own risk.

The Penthouse is in the quaint alpine village of Landry, technically part of the ski resort of Peisey Vallandry, and right at the heart of the huge Paradiski domain. One of the best kept secrets in the Alps, Peisey Vallandry is a bit like Sainte Foy but with many more ski runs and better facilities.

Peisey Vallandry combines world class snow-sure skiing with a charming cluster of old farming villages. Some are connected to the slopes by lifts, others, like Landry, by the inter-village shuttle bus service. There’s one to Plan Peisey and the Nordic Ski Centre in La Rosuel (stop 150m from chalet), and one to the Arc 1600 funicular in Bourg St Maurice (stop 250m). If you have a car, you can drive to the lifts in Montchavin-Les Coches on the La Plagne side of Paradiski (a shorter and easier drive), and you can then just nip across on the Vanoise Express cable car. Alternatively, you can pay extra for our chalet shuttle service.
