We take a 30% non-refundable deposit by card or bank transfer to secure your booking, and the balance at least 12 weeks before the holiday start date. Flights, ski hire, ski lessons and insurance are not included in our prices.

If you decide to go ahead with the booking, we’ll then email you our booking form with the full terms and conditions. Bookings are not confirmed until the booking form and deposit has been received, and we’ve sent you a booking confirmation email.

Holiday cancellation charges apply. We strongly recommend you purchase holiday cancellation and accident insurance.

Check in is usually from 5pm to 7pm and check out is 10am. We can be flexible about the arrival time as long as it is agreed in advance. If you are staying on a catered basis and arrive later than 8pm, we cannot guarantee a hot evening meal.

Return airport or station transfers are usually included for groups of 6 or more outside peak periods, subject to availability and our terms & conditions. Smaller groups, and groups choosing peak weeks, may be charged a transfer supplement of up to 150€pp depending on the airport, times and dates. We can pick you up from Chambery, Grenoble, Geneva or Lyon airport, but please check availability and times with us first before booking your flights. All those in your party requiring transfers must travel to and from the same airport, at the same time, unless by prior agreement.

In order to avoid heavy traffic and potential delays, we usually leave early in the morning for the return transfer to the airport. If you want to leave later, please request this when you book (it also helps if you travel on a Sunday). Please note we accept no liability for missed flights or connections.

Children aged 5 or more are welcome in all our chalets if your group is staying self-catered, and also if you are booking the chalet on a catered sole occupancy basis.

We are also happy to accept children in catered groups staying on a shared chalet occupancy basis, but only for dates where we do not already have adult-only bookings (unless the other adults have given their prior consent). If so, we serve an earlier, simple 2 course supper for children at 6.00pm, leaving the adults free to enjoy their evening meal together later.

We can provide booster seats for our vehicles if required, just let us know in advance. We can also arrange babysitting in the chalets for an extra charge. You will need to bring your own car seats and possibly travel cot (check with us first as we only have a limited number).

The exterior log steps and steep internal staircases mean our chalets are not very suitable for children aged under 5 or for people with reduced mobility.

Mountain Maison, the Penthouse, Maison Caramel and Ferme Blanche are all located in Paradiski (Les Arcs + La Plagne), and are very conveniently situated for easy access by road, rail and air. They are within 90-180km of four international airports (Chambery, Lyon, Geneva, and Grenoble), 7km from Bourg Saint Maurice and Aime la Plagne train stations, and around 9 hours (mainly motorway) from Calais. Depending on your group size and dates, airport transfers are usually provided for catered guests from Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva. All those in your party requiring airport transfers must travel to and from the same airport, at the same time unless by prior arrangement. Depending on the time, date and the number of people in your group, a supplement may be payable and restrictions may apply to the times when we can pick you up and / or drop you off. Please check with us before booking your flights. Self-catered guests can pay extra for transfers (we are a licensed and fully insured transport provider).

The Eurostar “ski train” (www.eurostar.com) stops in both Aime La Plagne (ideal for Ferme Blanche) and Bourg Saint Maurice, just 15 minutes drive from the chalets. If you travel over-night, you can get up to two extra days on the slopes. There are also TGV and local train services direct to Landry (ideal for Mountain Maison and the Penthouse). We offer a transfer service to and from the station for catered guests (restrictions may apply, so please let us know your requirements before booking). As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism, we give catered guests travelling by train a discount off the cost of their holiday.
