Maison Caramel is a spacious 300m2 catered or self-catered chalet with a charming alpine feel. Catered guests can stay shared occupancy on a room by room basis, or stay sole occupancy if you are a group of 10 or more.  It has 5 large bedrooms and an optional self-contained studio, a large sitting room with log stove and WIFI, an infra-red sauna, and a large dining room with doors on to the terrace. There’s a sunny enclosed garden to the side with lovely mountain and village views, BBQ area and sun deck.

Situated on the edge of the village of Landry, it’s just a short walk to village centre, and a few minutes drive from the ski slopes of Paradiski (Les Arcs + La Plagne) in our chalet shuttle bus (catered guest only). If you stay self-catered, the village shuttle bus stop to Plan Peisey (Les Arcs) is 150m, or you can pay extra for our chalet shuttle service to the lifts in Montchavin-Les Coches (La Plagne). See the “Resort” tab above for more information.

Optional services for self-catered guests include a bakery delivery service, and if you fancy a rest from cooking, our private cook can come and prepare dinner for you some nights (and do the washing up!). We can also deliver ready-made meals for you to reheat yourselves. Ask us for a quote.

The different floors in Maaison Caramel are connected by interior staircases that are steep and narrow in places. We do not have stair gates. As a result, it is not very suitable for people with restricted mobility or very young children. We help you take up your luggage when we can, and clear the steps and pathways around the outside of the house for you when it snows, but you use them at your own risk.

Maison Caramel is in the quaint alpine village of Landry, technically part of the ski resort of Peisey Vallandry, and right at the heart of the huge Paradiski domain. One of the best kept secrets in the Alps, Peisey Vallandry is a bit like Sainte Foy but with many more ski runs.

Peisey Vallandry combines world class snow-sure skiing with a charming cluster of old farming villages. Some are connected to the slopes by lifts, others, like Landry, by the inter-village shuttle bus service. There’s one to Plan Peisey and the Nordic Ski Centre in la Rosuel (stop 150m from chalet), and one to the Arc 1600 funicular in Bourg St Maurice (stop 250m). If you have a car, you can drive to the lifts in Montchavin-Les Coches on the La Plagne side of Paradiski (a shorter and easier drive), and you can then just nip across on the Vanoise Express cable car. Alternatively, you can pay extra for our chalet shuttle service (free for catered guests).
